Entry Submissions


Please read the Rules & Eligibility section carefully before submitting your entry.

Submission and Judging processes:

  1. Register with your uh.edu email address and Peoplesoft ID. (ex: cougarpitch@uh.edu)
  2. Read and follow the directions on the submissions page, and submit your entry.
  3. After submission, you can edit it as long as it is not locked for judging or has been judged already. To edit, simply log back in with your email address.
  4. Deadline for entries is 10/31/12 at 11:59 pm CST. Note: Entries are complete.
  5. A three-judge panel will screen the entries and 10 to 12 finalists will be selected and notified after 11/9/12. All finalists are required to present their pitch at an alumni event on 11/17/12.
  6. Finalists will be judged by a distinguished panel of VCs, entrepreneurs and business professionals (all alumni). At the end of the presentations, the winners in each category* will be announced. Decisions of the judges are final.

*There are at least two categories, one for BBA ENTR majors, and one for all other UH students. Depending on the number of entries, there could be other additional categories, including faculty/staff, graduate students, etc. That will be determined based on the number of entries, and will not affect the prize money in any category.
